A youth-led social action programme for secondary and post-16 learners.
Building on the success of our popular Make a Difference Challenge for primary aged children, Young Citizens has developed Bring About Change: a community action programme for young people aged 11+.
The programme equips young people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to investigate and solve issues in their community through creating meaningful social action projects.
All educators working with groups of young people on social action will receive access to a comprehensive online package of training and resources to help them set up projects that are impactful and youth-led.
- What goes into an effective community action project, and how to go about igniting the passion in young people
- How to make community projects youth-led
- A three-part structure for engagement: Get Ready, Take Action, and Bring About Change
- Example timetables for different models of delivery
The programme is now available at an introductory cost of £149 for a 12 month licence to include up to three named educators per registration.
